What it is
A genre-to-snack pairing toy. Six genres, three to five snack suggestions per genre, each with a 90-second prep recipe.
Why I built it
It was a holiday weekend, I was watching too many films, and I wanted to ship something small for the joy of shipping. The whole thing is one page of JSX and one JSON file.
The voice
The pairings have opinions: pesto popcorn for thrillers (the green is dramatic), bruschetta for rom-coms (the joy is communal), BBQ sliders for action (the mess is the point). I'd lose points in a usability test for being too cheeky. I'm fine with that.
